What People Say About The Classes

"Thank you! What a beautiful piece of art work!

Helen & Hal Rohlman"

"Sandy Stephens of Custom Stained Glass here in Sterling provided free of charge two classes to the senior community. The following seniors attended the class: Debi Brothers, Jean Brown, Charlotte Sponsel, Melinda Skelton, Faye Brazington, Millie Morris, Sharon Merle, and DJ McCaslin. I have spoken to everyone who attended the classes and their comments were nothing but positive. It was reported that she was a wonderful instructor and is very patient with everyone in the class.

After hearing all the positive feedback, I decided to attend a class myself. I attended an accelerated two hour Valentines Day class. My daughter, Patricia Penny, also took the class. Sandy was so very giving of her time and expertise. We are both very plased with her and the resulting projects we completed."

"Laurene and I had a fun time learning the first baby steps of stained glass - you're a great instructor. I'm sure had I left my piece there and came back today to pick it up, it would have looked perfect... just like the armholes in my dresses that Mom fixed!

Anyway, once our cuts heal and we feel the need to try again but this time doing foil, the price would be $150 plus the cost of whatever glass we use. Right? So shwa happens if our pieces are not complete in 6 hours? Do you open the door, boot us out, followed by our unfinished projects? And if there was a lot of snow on the ground, we'd have to dig through snow drifts and berms to try to retrieve them? Okay, okay, my cold is a little worse today so that must be why my imagination is flying.

Anyway, when you get a second (which if yesterday was any indication of when you get a second... you won't), drop me a note. Fair warning, there's a very good chance you'll see us again!!

" Dear Sandy,

I want to personally thank you for providing the two "free" stained glass classes to the Sterling Senior members. You have certainly made a positive impression with those who were able to attend your class. Please allow me to relay some of the responses I received:

"Loved the class - Excellent instructor - very generous with her time and materials."

"All good - Great teacher! - Very good at multi-tasking."

"Thrilled with the class - Wonderful instructor - Can't say enough good things about Sandy. Highly recommend taking class for anyone interested in stained glass."

"Good - Easy Pattern Selection - All supplies furnished - Would recommend to others."

"Good - Good instruction - Costly to pursue this hobby."

I am very aware you had students with a wide range of capabilities. Having every single participant so very pleased with your class presentation is great! Again, thank you from all the students and myself for your donation of your time and materials.

In addition I wanted to thank you for the "Valentines Day" class my daughter and I attended. We are both so very pleased with our "hearts." Also, thank you for being so patient with me and spending so much time with us. I am looking forward to attending another class in the future.

Sincerely, Rita Helleck
